Locum Registered Nurse (Grade 5) Acute Medical About the Role: Join a dynamic 28-bed adult medical unit (with capacity to expand to thirty beds) that provides multidisciplinary assessment, management, and care for general medical patients. Specialties include Oncology, Cardiology, Respiratory, Renal, and Acute General Medicine. About You: Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on clinical experience in a medical setting Current AHPRA Registration National (Australian Criminal History Check Immunisation History Good computer literacy skills Desirable Experience: Knowledge and proficiency in using ieMR Previous experience working in Australia Mandatory Competencies: BLS competency Manual and patient handling Infection control Aggressive behaviour management Mandatory reporting for reasonable suspicions of child abuse and neglect Medications management, including QPHS (Drugs and Poisons) Regulations November 2012 Contract Dates: 1 x 23.12.2024 – 30.03.2025 1 x 06.01.2025 – 30.03.2025 (Nurse must be ieMR trained to commence on 06.01.2025 – please advise in submission if trained) 1 x 13.01.2025 – 30.03.2025 Benefits: Travel provided/km reimbursed Offsite accommodation provided.
